Julie Ann Obar is a 39-year-old Filipino, Catholic, married with three children aged 16, 8, and 5. She has childcare and elderly care experience in Taiwan and Hong Kong and is able to converse in fairly good English.

Her first employment was from 2012 to 2013 with a Hong Kong Chinese employer, a family of six consisting of sir, ma’am, and four children aged 14, 12, 10, and 8. She was responsible for preparing the children for school each day, managing drop-off and pick-up, and providing attentive after‑school care. Julie assisted with their daily needs, ensuring routines were followed and the children were well-supervised. In addition, she handled household duties including apartment cleaning, general housekeeping, cooking family meals, and managing laundry, demonstrating reliability and the ability to balance childcare with domestic responsibilities.

Her second employment was from 2022 to 2026 with a Taiwanese employer, a family of five consisting of sir, ma’am, two children, and 87-year-old elderly. Julie provided dedicated and compassionate care to the elderly, assisting with showering, feeding, toileting, dressing, and medication reminders. She accompanied the elderly for medical check-ups and ensured comfort and safety at all times. Alongside elderly care, she managed household responsibilities including cleaning, laundry, and cooking, demonstrating her ability to balance caregiving with maintaining a well-organized home environment.

She is able to cook a variety of Chinese and Filipino dishes including adobo, steamed chicken, steamed minced pork, herbal soups, fried pork, fried fish, fried chicken, fried rice, and stir‑fried vegetables. Her cooking is adaptable to suit the needs of young children, elderly individuals, and healthy adults, ensuring meals are both nutritious and well-balanced. Julie demonstrates confidence in preparing family-friendly dishes with proper seasoning and presentation.
