Evi Dian Tika is a 25-year-old Indonesian Muslim widow with one child aged 3. She has completed a 2-year contract in Singapore, specializing in childcare. She is able to converse in daily conversational English, allowing her to follow instructions and communicate effectively with employers and children.

From 2024 to 2026, she worked with a Singaporean Indian family of four: Sir, Ma’am, and two children aged 2 and 4. She prepared the children for school each morning, walked them safely to and from school, and ensured they were well cared for after school. Her responsibilities included supervising playtime, assisting with showering, preparing meals, and accompanying the children to the playground. In addition, she cleaned an HDB maisonette with 4 bedrooms and 2 toilets, managed housekeeping, prepared ingredients for Ma’am’s cooking, and washed the family car.

She is able to cook simple Indonesian home-style dishes such as rendang, curries, sambals, steamed fish, steamed chicken, fried rice, fried fish, fried chicken, soto, and satay. She also learned from her Indian employer to prepare a few simple dishes like dhal curries and soups, showing her adaptability in cooking across cultures.

Evi is eager to return to work in Singapore to provide for her young child. She is motivated, hardworking, and ready to embrace new experiences and cultures while applying her skills in childcare, household management, and cooking with dedication and care.
