Maid Introduction
She has been employed with a Chinese family of four since June 2023 and has remained with them for nearly three years. When she joined, the household had one newborn; today she cares for two children, now a three-year‑old and a six-month‑old. Her responsibilities have evolved alongside the children's growth. Initially, she managed the eldest child's daily school routine, preparing breakfast, uniform, school bag, and shoes, walking her to and from school, and providing after-school care. With the arrival of the second child, she shifted focus to infant care, handling feeding, burping, hygiene, and sleep routines while continuing to support the toddler’s needs. Ma'am takes over the task of sending eldest to and from school. Beyond childcare, she prepares simple Chinese dishes for the family like steam fish, steam eggs, fried chicken, curries, pork rib soup, braised pork, porridge, suitable for the whole family. At the same time, she maintains the household, keeping a three-bedroom, two-toilet HDB flat clean and organized and also washed the family car.
Wai Oo is deeply passionate about elderly care, which inspired her to pursue formal caregiver training which she will be graduating on 19 May 2026. She has learned essential skills in supporting seniors with mobility, hygiene, nutrition, and emotional companionship. With this knowledge, she is eager to embark on a meaningful new path in caregiving, applying her training to provide compassionate and professional support to elderly individuals.
