Maid Introduction
First Employment (2013 - 2015)
For almost 2 years she worked with a Malay family of three: Sir, Ma’am, and an elderly Ah Mah (80+ years old) who was diabetic. Her duties included administering insulin injections three times daily, giving medication, monitoring blood sugar and blood pressure, and accompanying Ah Mah for hospital appointments and leisure walks. Ah Mah enjoyed cooking, and Siti assisted by preparing ingredients. She also cleaned a HDB flat with two bedrooms and one toilet.
Second Employment (2015 – 2021)
For 6 years she worked with a Bangladeshi family of six: Sir, Ma’am, and four children aged 13, 10, 4, and 6 months. There were two helpers in the household, and Siti’s main responsibility was caring for the youngest child, a baby boy. She managed his daily needs including feeding, bathing, changing diapers, and ensuring proper sleep routines. She monitored his health and comfort, provided attentive supervision, and supported his early development through play and interaction. When the baby grew older, she guided him through toddler routines such as learning to eat independently and basic hygiene. In addition, she assisted the other helper with household cleaning and gardening tasks whenever she was free.
Third Employment (2021 - 2026)
She worked with a Chinese family consisting of Ah Mah and Ah Gong, both in their 60s, healthy and actively working. Siti took care of their daily needs and supported them with light tasks. She managed household chores in a large four-storey house with six bedrooms and six toilets, washed one car, tended to the garden, and cooked occasionally. She completed 4.5 years in this employment.
Cooking Experience
Although cooking was not her main duty in her three employments, she enjoys cooking and is able to prepare Chinese and Indonesian dishes such as rendang, pork rib soup, fried noodles, fried rice, fried fish, steamed chicken, porridge, and more.
Readiness
Siti is motivated and prepared to return to Singapore to continue her work, bringing with her extensive experience in childcare, elderly care, household management, and cooking.

Whether you’re looking to hire a new maid in Singapore or a transfer helper, Honest Recruiter can help you with every step.
Having a maid in Singapore is a huge help, and we are so grateful for the extra hands with young kids especially. But all the paperwork, rules, fees, and bureaucracy can be tedious. Unless you opt for a part-time helper, hiring a maid means having them live in your house with you, so you must ensure you have the space and that they are the right fit for your family.
Beyond the initial hiring process – when you describe your needs to us and then interview suitable candidates – we, Honest Recruiter, can assist further down the line with issues like renewing contracts, arranging home leave for your helper, and helping you find a replacement or part-time helper if your initial hire doesn’t work out (hey, it happens!). In the unfortunate circumstance where your helper gets into legal trouble, or you find cause for immediate termination, Honest Recruiter can also be very helpful with the repatriation process.
Where do you start? If you’re unsure about the steps and want a maid agency to do the hard work, look no further; contact Honest Recruiter today for a non-obligation inquiry.
